Eden Scores 8th Annual Daytona 250

When the green silk dropped on Tuesday night, it didn’t take long for Jeff Eden and John Higman Jr. to make their presence known at Daytona. Mainiac Racing and Green Flag Racing presented the 8th running of the Daytona 250 on Tuesday which not only served as the lid-lifter to the winter season but was a stage for some of the best super speedway racing seen in a long time on RLMtv!

After a quick caution early in the race which took the likes of Black, Ebert and Werner out of the event, the race went green. Almost two complete runs of green flag pit stops were completed before the yellow flew again, which showcased the respect and patience by the drivers on track. Through that green flag run Jeff Eden had John Higman Jr. glued to the tailgate of his #91 truck and looked pretty much unstoppable throughout the event. He would lead forty-six laps of the sixty completed on Tuesday en route to the victory at Daytona in the 8th Annual Daytona 250! Higman came home in second with Robb Denhoff in third, TJ Bartel in fourth and the “Silver Fox” rounding out the top five.

Twenty-six drivers began the race while seventeen completed the event, which featured four cautions for twelve laps. Five drivers led the event as the swapped the top spot eight times with Eden leading the most circuits in the event.
