When it comes to looking back on the 2011 White Gate Services Thunder Modifieds season for East Coast Thunder it will be known as Todd Taylor’s year. Taylor, in his brother’s #83 car thanked his family in the Winner’s Circle for and credited pit strategy in taking home the victory.
The Bill’s Auto Repair 150 feature lots of action and excitement as eighteen drivers saw the green flag. Thirteen yellow flags slowed the event for sixty laps while the full distance of the 150-laps too just one hour, twenty two minutes to complete. The race came down to a one lap dash with Ambroceo spinning his tires on the final green flag start. Danny Savary got the jump on Windrow on the inside but could not hold the line, relegating the #21 to fourth.
