Baucom pulls Hat Trick at ECT

This season in the Guy’s Oil East Coast Thunder Late Models has been one of the most competitive in history. In eleven races leading up to Saturday’s finale the series had only seen a trio of two time winners with another handful of drivers visiting victory lane once in the northeast based tour. The Late Models visited fan favorite New Hampshire Motor Speedway in their twelfth race of the season for The Granite State 100 presented by Bill’s Auto Repair and George’s Auto Body with over a dozen Late Model cars taking the green flag. The Southern Superstars Racing League will be hosting an online charity event at Talladega Superspeedway on Monday night, January 24th, 2011. The race will be open to all sim racing drivers who make a minimum $10.00 donation to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital via the SSRL website. Spradlin Flawless at Talladega

The Southern Superstars Racing League (SSRL) brought together thirty-four of the best super speedway drivers from across the map to raise money for St. Jude Children’s Hospital in the ScreenThatPorch.com 200 at the Talladega Super Speedway. At a track where the top spot can be crucial to victory, it was Alabama’s Chase Spradlin cashing in on great pit work to keep his #75 out front of the field to win on Monday night. Spradlin led a race high thirty-six of the seventy-six laps completed on the high banks of the 2.66-mile track to take the win. Continue reading

Phillip Wins DEI-RACING 500

The top sim drivers on the NASCAR Racing 2003 Simulation came together on January 2nd to contest the ninth annual DEI-Racing Commerative 500. Names like Larkin, Wilson, Bishop, Becze, Black, Hann and Jette all came to the virtual Talladega Super Speedway with the intent of winning the prestigious event and the cash prize to go with the victory. Many came and many fell short of the exciting finish that left the fans on the edge of their seats as attrition took some of the “top guns” in sim racing out of contention. Continue reading

Mike Sharp Claims Final Race of 2010

The NWO and DWI leagues ran their final race of the 2010 calendar year on RLMtv on December 30th at the Texas Motor Speedway and like many races we had seen in the previous months the drivers left us wanting more in 2011.
