The Southern Superstars Racing League will kick off it’s first annual Snowball Derby on Sunday, December 12, 2010 with Derby Qualifying, followed by the SSRL Snowflake 150 for the INL LMS Limited Late Model stock cars. Then on Saturday night, December 18th the LMPv2 Super Late Models will battle for 300 laps live, on RLM-TV to find out who the inaugural SSRL Snowball Derby champion will be. This race event, as well as the Snowflake 150 will be open to any driver who has previously competed with the SSRL and is in good standings with the league, but the starting field for the race events will be limited to 24 cars, which will be based on the 24 fastest qualifiers. The biggest short track event in the NR2003 season returns on November 28th with the 2nd Annual Late Model Championships. Last season, 28 of the best Late Model drivers dueled it out for 250-laps at Hickory Motor Speedway with Matt Riley of New Hampshire taking the win. Who will take the victory this season?
